I am happy to announce that at last my poem, “Again Rubbed (not quite) Smooth,” is up at Sunlight Press. You can find it here. Many thanks to Editors Rudri Patel and Beth Burrell.
I talked about this work here when it was accepted. It’s a grim little poem about the painfulness of never getting it right as a human. I’m in a better place than I was when I wrote it, but I still think it says something important, if not comforting, about our condition. I invite you to read it and let me know what you think.
Speaking of the painfulness of being human, after being impressed by Russell T. Davies‘s work on Doctor Who, my son and I are reviewing some of his other shows, beginning with Torchwood Series 3, Children of Earth. It is all about various kinds of human pain. Find out what we think below.
