I am pleased that my experiment with alliterative verse (very loosely based on archaic verse forms), “Elephant in the Room,” has been accepted by the perceptive editorial team at great weather for MEDIA for their next anthology. My latest batch of poems has been floating around out there and gradually getting larger for some time, so it is a relief to place this relatively old friend. I like this piece, but, like most of my work, it has been deemed “edgy,” and I myself considered it a dangerously playful experiment.

So I’m happy that the great weather editors, who search for edgy and experimental content, considered it worthy. Although I am grateful for the honorarium that comes with publication, I am even more excited to read my fellow great weather poets and perhaps attend and read at one of the many events great weather for MEDIA organizes around the country.
